Loger13: The game is fully playable from start to finish in SP mode and no content is lost. Seems odd to remove LAN support in GOG Version, unless it was directly tied to Steamworks.since this is a game using Source Engine and that version used Steamworks. I should check the Steam-version (since I have it there) but never did really check that version on this - but in that version now, does the single-player solo offline content actually work offline via Steam and its offline mode?ĭid the Steam-version of EYE get any updates, since this new SP version's out here on GOG? That way - well, they (the dev's) can just cut or "comment out" the parts of it needing Steam's code, GOG Galaxy's code, or whatever for uploading Achievements it just does all this stuff straight-up locally to the player while offline.

Though, this here is exactly proves my point on why games should have built-in offline Achievement & profile support right within the actual game itself and engine itself from the original version, as the Steam-version has Achievements (via Steamworks).

The SP is bonkers and really fun some crazy stuff going on in this one.
